On June 4th. 2009 Living Voices presented it's first live webcast. You can still view this program as a streaming video. This experimental webcast featured a performance of a portion of our program "Journey from the Dust" and included a live introduction and interactive Q&A period after the performance.
How can I see this program? Click here to go to the streaming video of the webcast. Choose "guest" to sign in. Of course, you will not be able to interact with the performer as it is now a streaming video but you will see how it all works when things are "live" and you be able to view the performance.
Why a Webcast? This webcast is perfect for those who have a "Smartboard" or any kind of video projection attached to a computer. You can also just log on with any computer and watch from your desk. Speakers or headphones are required to hear the program. Questions to the performer may be submitted two ways - either by typing them into the presentation interface, or by configuring a camera and microphone. Should you opt for a camera and microphone, it's highly recommended that you contact us before the event to schedule a communication test.
Tell us what you think. We are still working on this style of presentation. We hope to launch more programs specifically designed to be presented as webcasts. You feedback is appreciated. You can send your comments to the producer at: mmcclinton@livingvoices.org
What about the other Living Voices shows? We are still in the business of live educational theatre. All of our programs (including "Journey from the Dust") are still available to be presented live for your classroom, boardroom, or community group.
